Houston employers and workers will see another hefty increase in the cost of health benefits next year, a report issued Monday predicted.
The average total cost of buying health insurance for a Houston-area employee will rise to $9,052, more than double the average cost in 2000, according to the study by Hewitt Associates, a benefits consulting company based near Chicago.
