- For something that will make you laugh, maybe, the Houston Chronicle2 ran a story about how Hispanics become Democrats due to “ignorance” — at least according to one Republican source. “Hispana: Por ignorancia latinos se hacen “demócratas” en EEUU” is a hoot (it’s in Spanish).
- From the other viewpoint, but in the same media (Houston Chronicle2) there’s “Intereses hispanos, reflejados en agenda demócrata — Varios puntos importantes para los latinos entraron en la plataforma polÃtica del candidato presidencial Barack Obama.” NOTE, also in Spanish.
- The Houston Chronicle2 is reporting that “San Francisco is delaying a controversial program that would provide identification cards to all residents regardless of legal status.” These IDs would be necessary for city services, including health and libraries.
