Longtime Denver public relations agency Webb PR and Latino marketing firm Xcelente have launched a joint company to serve the Hispanic market.
The new company, called Xcelente/Webb, is designed to serve clients that want to tap into the growing buying power of the Hispanic community — now estimated to be about $700 billion nationally.
The principals are Toti Cadavid and Elizabeth Suarez, Xcelente managing partners, and Pete Webb and Ginny Williams, Webb PR partners. They’ll still maintain their separate businesses.

Hispanic media firms brace for Houston newcomer
— reported by the Houston Business Journal
A pair of Hispanic-focused media firms — Lopez Negrete Communications Inc. and de La Garza Public Relations Inc. — have long enjoyed a lock of sorts on the local Hispanic media market. But a Florida-based competitor poised to enter Houston may just spice things up a bit.
Tampa, Fla.-based Mañana Marketing will open an office in the Galleria area in September with plans to bill at least $1 million during its first year in Houston.
Mañana principal Jeff Devin says the eight-person advertising and public relations firm is already actively visiting prospective clients in the local market and will hire four to six employees to start up the local operation.
