Houston artists chosen as 2006 Hunting Art Prize finalists
— reported by the Houston Business Journal

The Hunting Art Prize is relocating to Houston after 25 years in Great Britain, where it emerged as one of the U.K.’s leading competitions.

The nine finalists were selected in the first of a two-tiered judging process.

In the second phase, jurors will visit the artists at their studios March 27 to 29, and the winner, receiving a $50,000 prize, will be announced April 29 at a gala at The Corinthian.
