— reported by HispanicAd.com

LatCom Communications has added Latino U. – High School Edition to its publishing arsenal.

“As leaders in New Generation Latino media and entertainment, LatCom is proud to offer a critical segment of our audience, Latina teens, a magazine they can finally call their own. With Latinos representing 1 out of 5 teenagers in the U.S. and spending over $20 billion per year, this audience is one that advertisers need to tap,” says David Chitel, CEO of LatCom Communications, publishers of Latino U.

Like its collegiate predecessor, the new high school edition will be distributed exclusively at high-density Latino schools nationwide, and be available via branded Latino U. racks on campus. Featuring Real Women Have Curves, America Ferrera as its first aspirational cover story, Latino U. – High School Edition will also provide an interesting blend of educational columns geared towards inspiring readers to attend college. Other featured content will include fashion, music, technology, fun contests and general areas of interest for Latina teens.
