Some good local news, found in M.D. Anderson Cancer Center again ranks among the nation’s best, reported by the Houston Business Journal:
For the first time since 2001, the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center received the No. 2 ranking cancer center hospital in U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Hospitals” survey.

Texas Children’s Hospital ranked No. 4 in pediatrics.

Memorial Hermann Hospital was ranked No. 41 in kidney disease and No. 49 in urology.
Nice to know that living in a city with one of the best-known medical centers in the world actually means that those facilities are good.
